Research into the Genre of 'Pop Rock'

POP ROCK

Pop rock is a mix of pop music and rock music-usually containing 'light' lyrics, but with a more 'rocky' beat; usualy guitar based. Pop rock has been described as an "upbeat variety of rock music" and has been represented by artists such as Elton John, Paul McCartney, The Everly Brothers, Rod Stewart, and Chicago.
